M.Large Tree Services are distributors for the Palms range of Forestry cranes and timber trailers. Palms cranes and timber trailers provide an economical multi purpose combination for log loading, transporting logs to roadside, firewood collection, stacking, handling and day to day clearance on farms, estates, parks and amenity areas. The cranes range from 5-6.7m reach and have lifting capacities up to 900kg at 4m. Four slewing cylinders with oil bath gears and roller bearings, give plenty of slewing torque and smooth trouble free operation. 'A' frame support legs give good stabilty and the 2 lever control valves are easy to use. They can be used independent of the trailer on the tractor 3 point linkage. Two sizes of grapples are available. The trailers have carrying capacities from 8000 - 13,000kg. Tandem axles with oversize tyres give good floatation and reduce ground damage. Four sets of bolsters, hydraulic brakes and a steering drawbar come as standard.
