M. Large Tree Services Ltd first started operating as
a one-man, part-time business in 1970, becoming full-time
in 1980 and eventually becoming a family owned limited
company in 1992. Since then owner Michael Large has
turned this company into one of the most successful
businesses in its sector.
Over the years our range of activities has expanded
and our diverse portfolio of activities now includes: |

consultancy with regard to landscape
and Arboricultural matters including
work for the N.Ireland planning service
and N I Housing executive in relation
to conservation areas. |

and maintaining woodland, mostly
hardwood in urban
situations e.g. community woodlands. |

|

Arboricultural and
Forestry contracting, to date we have
worked for almost every public body in
Northern Ireland as well as thousands

Landscaping and grounds
maintenance contracting, including the
establishment and maintenance of public
woodlands and parks, pond and wildlife
habitat creation. |

Specialist machinery
movement for local blue chip customers.
Equipment available includes an ERF 6
x 4 rigid truck with a rear mounted,
radio controlled 330 Hiab crane and an
Iveco 6 x 2 rigid truck with a rear
mounted, radio controlled 700-7 Hiab
crane. |

screened woodchip mulch, firewood logs,
sawn native timber, Ornamental garden
timber products including Wooden
stepping-stones, Rustic planters,
Timber for garden edging and screened
topsoil. |

Forestry equipment sales
/hire and servicing. M.Large Tree
Services Ltd has developed into one of
the largest suppliers of new and used
forestry equipment in the UK, with over
500 machines sold each year. |

M. Large intend to expand the firewood market by keeping
the cost of equipment down, thus encouraging more people
into the industry. With a stock of over 300 processors

| Our premises include 10,000 square meters of workshop
and office with a further 20,000 square meters of yard
space. We have a highly skilled workshop and spare parts
team on hand to offer customer support and four full time
office staff to deal with all day to day enquiries. |
